Miranda Miguel is the Founder and Creative Director of Ischia by Miranda, a Salvadoran luxury fashion brand specializing in handcrafted womenswear, ready-to-wear collections, and exclusive custom designs. Her collections have been showcased on runways in El Salvador, Guatemala, New York, Paris, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., and Texas, establishing her as one of the emerging voices in Latin American fashion.
Inspired by timeless elegance and exceptional craftsmanship, Miranda creates designs that celebrate confidence, femininity, and individuality. She is also the founder of sister brand L'Isola by Ischia, a contemporary resort, swim, and activewear line designed for women who embrace movement, travel, and effortless sophistication.
The beginning
Born and raised in El Salvador, Miranda grew up surrounded by textiles. What started as sketches and personal designs soon became the foundation of a dream.
Miranda attended the University of Queensland in Australia, where she earned a degree in International Business Management. She complemented her studies with courses in Fashion and Luxury Management from Istituto Marangoni, developing the business and creative knowledge needed to build a global brand.
What began as a small project by a seventeen-year-old girl has evolved into one of the country's most recognized designer brands. Today, Ischia by Miranda has been showcased at fashion events and runways across the world.

Miranda Miguel has always believed that creative minds live creative lives—and her own journey reflects exactly that. Every decision, every mistake, every country visited, and every lesson learned has shaped the person and designer she is today.
Despite the brand's growth, Miranda remains deeply connected to the experiences that inspire her work. She believes that a creative life fuels creative design, making travel, culture, and personal experiences essential parts of her creative process. Naturally private, she rarely shares her innermost thoughts publicly. Instead, she chooses to express them through her collections—allowing each design to tell a story, capture an emotion, and reveal a piece of who she is.
For Miranda, fashion is more than clothing. It is a reflection of life, memory, and the belief that every experience becomes part of the masterpiece we are creating.
“Ischia was born out of my passion for fashion. I was inspired by the strong, unique, powerful, beautiful, kind and brave women around me. Ischia is a way of celebrating them, since it’s not just a piece a clothing, rather it’s a mirror of their greatness. Yes, I design and create art, but you decide how to wear it.”
Why Ischia?
Ischia is one of the largest islands in the Gulf of Naples and one of Italy’s best-kept secrets. While many consider it one of the country’s most beautiful and unique destinations, it has remained relatively undiscovered. The island’s locals understand the extraordinary beauty, nature, and richness it possesses and have long protected it from overexposure.
For me, Ischia represents what I value most: beauty in its purest form, a deep connection to nature, and an appreciation for authenticity. Beyond its breathtaking landscapes, the name carries a personal significance, connecting the brand to my Italian heritage and to someone I hold very close to my heart.
Ischia by Miranda was born from that philosophy—a celebration of timeless beauty, craftsmanship, and pieces designed to be cherished for years to come.
